Pharmasco is a pioneer in rapid testing, was founded by a team of professionals who have come together for an important mission: to make global innovations in diagnostics accessible to each Ukrainian.
2002
PHARMASCO CREATES A SPECIAL DIRECTION OF DIAGNOSTICS ON THE MARKET
Pharmasco introduces consumers and professionals a brand new type of diagnosis — rapid testing. Pharmasco team launches:
- drugs of abuse tests, which is still trusted by Ukrainians.
Due to the convenience and ease of use, appears unique positioning of the company's products — "Pocket Lab".

ASSORTMENT EXPANSION
Pharmasco launches rapid tests to diagnose parenteral infections:
- viral hepatitis B — CITO TEST® HBsAg;
- hepatitis C — CITO TEST® HCV;
- HIV — CITO TEST® HIV;
- syphilis — CITO TEST® Syphilis.

PHARMASCO IS THE MARKET LEADER FOR RAPID TESTS
Pharmasco — №1 on the market, offering Ukrainians convenient testing at home by expanding the line of tools for diagnosing infection, which are the main causes of viral diarrhea among children:
- CITO TEST® ROTA — rapid tests for the diagnosis of rotavirus;
- CITO TEST® ROTA-ADENO — rapid tests for the diagnosis of rotavirus and adenovirus.

PHARMASCO FORMS A WIDE PACK OF AVAILABLE DIAGNOSTICS
Pharmasco joins the global fight against cancer. Introduces rapid tests on the Ukrainian market to detect tumor markers:
- CITO TEST® FOB can detect hidden blood in the stool, which is colorectal cancer marker.
- CITO TEST® PSA — a test for prostate cancer screening.

RAPID DIAGNOSIS OF INFLUENZA
In response to widespread inquiries from consumers and professionals, Pharmasco launching CITO TEST® INFLUENZA to diagnose influenza. Timely diagnosis of influenza is a critical for the lives of people at risk.

HOME LABORATORY FOR URINE ANALYSIS
Pharmasco starts working with CITOLAB® brand. Indispensable in the life of Ukrainian consumers have become test strips for home use – it is the fastest help in detecting pathological indicators by urine of the patient:

- CITOLAB™ G — glucose;

PHARMASCO EXPANDS SPHERES OF ACTIVITY
Pharmasco develops the POCT (Point-Of-Care) direction and offers professional and easy-to-use POCT analyzers. From now, a convenient urine analyzer CITOLAB™ Reader is available to Ukrainian laboratory specialists to determine 11 parameters.

DIAGNOSTICS OF ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION
Pharmasco offers new diagnostic tools that save lives: CITO TEST® Troponin I and CITO TEST® Cardio Combo – rapid tests for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction that reveal the most informative biomarkers of this dangerous condition due to their high sensitivity and specificity.

REPLENISHMENT OF THE RANGE OF TESTS FOR PROFESSIONAL DIAGNOSTICS

WOMEN'S HEALTH IS THE FUTURE OF THE COUNTRY
With concern for the health of charming women, Pharmasco launches CITOLAB™ pH — test strips for the diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis.
Abnormal vaginal pH increases risk of infection, inflammation, miscarriage, etc. A quick check-up on a routine visit to the gynecologist or on your own at home helps prevent potential complications.

RECOGNIZED EXPERT IN THE FIELD OF RAPID TESTS
Pharmaco's product range is the largest among companies offering rapid tests. Focusing its activities on meeting the current and potential needs of customers, the company offers new diagnostic test systems CITO TEST® ROTA-ADENO-ASTRO-NORO for the qualitative detection of rotaviruses, adenoviruses, astroviruses and noroviruses, and CITO TEST® Giardia for the qualitative detection of Giardia antigens.

PRECISION, SPEED, NON-INVASIVE
The expediency of using non-invasive methods for diagnosing inflammatory bowel diseases in pediatric practice is pushing for the emergence of new test systems for the differential diagnosis of functional and inflammatory diseases of the colon: CITO TEST® Calprotectin, CITO TEST® Lactoferrin, CITO TEST® Calprotectin-Lactoferrin. Accuracy, speed and non-invasiveness are the main advantages of these diagnostic tools.

MODERN PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE COMPLEX
On May 4, 2016, our own production and warehouse complex was put into operation, the infrastructure necessary to achieve product compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 13485 was created. Qualified personnel, modern office, production facilities, warehouse are the prerequisites for further dynamic development and new achievements of the company.

LABORATORY DIRECTION PHARMASCO
Realizing the complexity, importance and need to support the work of a modern clinical and biochemical laboratory, Pharmaco offers biochemical reagents, the production of which is certified and meets the requirements of international standards ISO 13485:2003, ISO 9001:2008. The reagents are CE marked in accordance with the main provisions of Directive 98/79/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of Europe on medical devices for in vitro diagnostics.

TECHNICAL INNOVATION PHARMASCO
The company successfully supplies sets of biochemical reagents, provides technical, methodological and informational support, and eventually brings hematological and biochemical analyzers to the market. The equipment market sensation is CRYO-S® Painless, a high-tech cryoneurolysis device that relieves chronic pain, and the innovative BRASTER® breast examination system.

FIGHTING COVID-19
Market introduction of a line of tests for the diagnosis of COVID-19.
Pharmaco embodies the world recommendations of WHO and helps an ordinary Ukrainian to identify a dangerous disease in a timely manner thanks to the first quick self-tests in Ukraine, which have become available in pharmacies.

Pharmasco launches POCT (Point-Of-Care) analyzer for the diagnosis and monitoring of coronavirus infection. With its help, testing for COVID-19 is no longer tied to large equipped laboratories. Now, thanks to Pharmasco, it is possible to ensure laboratory level of diagnostic in places where it is necessary, which facilitates timely provision of medical care.
